Hoverwork's design and build service has accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 and works to the requirements of the International Code of Safety for High Speed Craft. New hovercraft would normally be built to classification society rules or under an inspection certificate.

Hoverwork's new range of high-speed amphibious hovercraft can be configured to your specific needs. The BHT (British Hovercraft Technology) 130 passenger craft is already in operational service as is the BHT150 Half Well Deck. The other craft in the range are the BHT 150 and BHT 160 which offer a range of flexible passenger/freight solutions, and the all passenger craft, BHT 180.

The range has been developed from the operating experience accumulated by our parent company, Hovertravel, and from designs supplied by GKN Aerospace Services Limited and British Hovercraft Corporation.

The Hoverwork team of experienced engineers is based at St Helens on the Isle of Wight. The facility includes 10,000 m² of hanger space. Various types of AP1-88 hovercraft have been manufactured here and the site is now geared for production of the new range of BHT hovercraft.

Specialised manufacturing facilities include a skirt shop for the manufacture and maintenance of hovercraft skirts and balancing and overspeed facilities for lift fans. The Hoverwork design office is also located here.
